The Sunburst is not only the HQ of the Red Bolts, a group of mercenaries known for their righteousness, but it is also a state-of-the-art example of the 74c model of the SBC ship class, made by a society called Sennsuru & Co.

The SBC ship class (standing for Star Battle Cruiser) stands out among spacecrafts for the sheer degree of customization it allows, as well as for the fact that it was among the first large armed battleship classes available for mercenaries on the market.

As such, the Sunburst has been modified in order to fit the Red Bolts' philosophy regarding bounty hunting, namely to neutralize rather than kill. To that end, the front part of the ship has been remade into a huge drone bay, sheltering 500 of them within the hull. These combat drones are equiped with EMP launchers and beam machinguns, and are made to be simple to repair without sacrificing armor.

Then the ship has side hatches for fighter crafts on its middle section. When they are launched into action, the Sunburst can then support these crafts with its cannon batteries, as well as with its front railgun. As so coordination is very important to garantee the crew and the ship's safety, which plays no small part in just how rigorous the training recruits go through is.

The Sunburst is 385 meters long for a wideness of 90 meters and a maximun height of 72 meters.

As stated above, it has 500 drones stored in its front bay, and 50 star fighters stored in the side bays. It has 18 ionized laser turrets in addition to the railgun. On top of that its reactor has been optimized for a higher rate of FTL jumps.

All of these features do not hamper the confort of the crew's living quarters though, and one could argue this is one of the reasons why the Red Bolts are so faithful to their leaders.

Overall, the Sunburst is a big part of their iconography, and its red and grey hull strikes awe in those who get to see it fly by, as it is pretty much the emblem of the Red Bolts' values and hard work.
