The Inhagane T-52k "Powersurge" is one of Inhagane's few cell-fed weapons, a fact that one could deem as an oddity given the faithfulness that the company has towards battery-fed weapons. However, what makes it undeniably theirs is the sheer level of quality and, unfortunately, its price. 25 000 credits for a hand cannon made many a mercenary gasp in dismay, but to the Powersurge's credit, it has solid specifications and interesting quirks.
Indeed, despite its bulky frame it has been optimized for one-handed usage, preferably paired with a shield. Additionally, this weapon incorporates a system never before seen on a gun of its class, namely the ability to modulate its shots via a switch located on the weapon's side. Switching it forwards has the Powersurge shoot out scattershot lasers, alike many bigger shotguns, whereas switching it backwards has its laser be focused into one bigger shot, with less range but much more impact, able to knock over most targets. This gives it a flexibility on the battlefield that most other hand cannons can only dream of.
Despite being hampered by its single shot, the Powersurge's capabilities has definitively made it into one of Inhagane's staple weapons... For those who can afford it, of course.
