Nice! I love it.
I just finished playing through #MetroidPrime again for the first time since, maybe 2007. Going back to it now (on the Wii U, playing through the trilogy) reminded me of how games really can take you to another place. Theres something about Metroid Prime that makes me forget im playing a game, I don’t know if its how ridiculously well thought out the gaming world is, if its the music, the pacing, the art direction or the much like combination of all of the above. I just forget that im playing a game. Particular when im around Phendrana Drifts. This is especially odd since I actually prefer Metroid Prime 2 Echoes more as a game… at least I did, I guess I will know if I still feel that way when I play through it again.
In celebration of all these feels I went and did some pixel art for the first time since 2008, its also my first time using photoshop to do it (don’t ask). I will be doing one of these with a little write up of each game I finish from here on in. Its a nice diversion from the animation I have been working on. Dont worry, I wont be flooding you with these, due to a lack of free time games take me forever to finish…
Nice! I love it.
Beautiful description, maybe more than the pic.
