pretty interesting anatomy and shading
to b clear what i mean by this is that the chromatophores in their skin (the shit that allows em 2 change colour) can adapt and change colour even when the octopus' eyes cant detect them. this is one of a few theories as 2 how they can detect colour despite not having enough cones in their eyes 4 the job. another theory is that the weird ass shape of their irises allow light comin thru to b distinguished via wavelength, allowing them 2 focus on colours.
also octopus eyes will naturally roll to ALWAYS be horizontal. which is p funny.
ur??? welcome????????????
pretty interesting anatomy and shading
well thank u!!!! interesting anatomy AND interesting octopus anatomy facts hehehehehe
Cool Octo facts provided by lewd example. Nice 👌👌👌
additional fun octopus fact: they dont, technically speaking, have tentacles. they have arms. tentacles r like arms but only have suckers @ the very end. decapodiformes (squidz & cuttlfish) have 8 arms & 2 tentacles but octopodiformes (octopuses & "vampire squids") have evolved to either lose their tentacles but have greatly reduced tentacles (which in turn r known as "cilia")
Basically octopuses rule. P.S ur art rules too :o}
big agree ??????? ?
(hehehehe thank u)
Imma be real I clicked just to see if you explained the title and I was pleasantly surprised. Science.
