Another remake from the old Dark Crystals OCs of 2010 - the Chemist and the Herbalist (now more fitted the Potion Master in this remake of the idea).
The Chemist and the Potion Master were the literal two halves of the same coin; working on their respective labs developing the Medicinal Brews and concoctions to maintain the health of their respective orders - a trait derive of their former urSkek Apothecary, ZholUlh. This trait probably went more extreme with the Chemist though, who seek out to create a revitalizing drink to maintain the Skeksis, experimenting on animal and subjects in secret to little or no results. This often gave him the ridicule of the others, specially his rival the Scientist, once he came with the RevitalizingĀ Gelfling Essence, at times calling him the Poison Master, for the amount of subjects that died during his experiments.
This Contrast with the Method of his Counterpart, urUlh, who took a slow yet methodical approach to his work, never hasting when working on the medicines he came up in the lab, located on focal point of Mana; his rhythmic yet ceremonial moves and chants helped flow the energies of Mana his lab and all around into allowing the mixtures to fully mingled with one and the other for the best results; this process would last days if not months of tedious concentration and meditation. The Potion Master kept a close relationship in the line of work of the Healing Arts with the Healer and the Herbalist, the latter providing the medicinal herbs and moss to work in his experiments, his strongest bond of friendship was with the Alchemist, referring him as a brother.
The life of the two however came to an end at the hand of the Chemist, who at times would drink his own potions when he ran out of test subjects, slowly poisoning himself; this force both halves to live a life of sickness that sadly ended with them passing away. While skekZhol was viewed as a crank by the Skeksis who never had any interest of preserving some of his work and thus forgotten, while the body of work of urUlh would be passed down to the Healer.
