Kiira, was a Beast Type Phantom and the Monster of the week on Ep.9 of the Kotetsu Jeeg Anime. It resemble a giant Bison with Reptilian like features and tail. It was Blue green from the fore half of its body, with half back to the tail was Dark Blue Green, with a blue head, a light blue fur under the neck and sport red horns, it also sport rows of black spikes on its back. Its yellow eyes were surrounded by fire shaped orange paint. Its weapons were Ramming attacks, compel by its overall strength, a Green Flame that fired from its fore head and Lava Bullets from the mouth – it may had sported “missile launchers on the side of the body, but these are's given no use in the episode. The Beast belonged to Amaso, who was forced into a team up with Ikima by Queen Himika.

After understanding that the best way to defeat Jeeg is by stopping The Big Shooter, Queen Himika orders her General's Imika and Amaso to join forces and use the Phantom Kiira for the mission, much to the disapproval of the Generals, Himika make her decision stand, not caring who defeated Jeeg, but that it is defeated. At Hiroshi's house, having a conversation with his mother and Michi, Hiroshi wonders of the exact whereabouts of the Bell, much to the “bother” of the two. At that moment, an Earthquake hits the area, concern for Mayumi, Hiroshi is inform she is at a School expedition of the cactus garden and he and Michi travel there to check for her.

As the Quake strikes the Garden, and the patrons run (including Mayumi's class among them), the Ground and plants morphed into a Bull like Phantom Kiira, and it attacks the park and patrons, and almost tries to crush Mayumi and her teacher, but when Hiroshi is detected approaching and the Big Shooter's exact launch point is detected, the villains proceed with the plan and Amaso orders Kiira to retreat underground before any confrontation can happened. Hiroshi and the Shooter arrive and he find his sister well, MechaDon then shows up and he leaves the Phantom to them while Hiroshi and Michi report back to Build Base.

At the Build Base, the Professor, Hiroshi and Michi wonder why would the Phantom showed up just to retreat, the Professor has concern may had been for ulterior motives. At that moment, the Orochi comes out and the villains make their move, Amaso orders Kiira to attack, the Phantom comes out and scares Don and Pancho off the MechaDon. Build Base detects the Phantom and Hiroshi and Michi roll into action: Hiroshi stumble with the Phantom, but Michi's attempt to join is stopped when the Orochi Fortress land over the lake, impeding her exit, she stops with the reverse boosters, but she hits the control console and is knocked out...

Sidenote: SERIOUSLY, MICHI IS CONSTANTLY GETTING KNOCKED OUT BECAUSE THERE ARE NO SAFETY BELTS IN HER FUCKING CHAIR!

Hiroshi is informed and he tries to buy time while they deal with the problem. Despite his obvious disadvantage, Hiroshi is capable to use Super strength against the Phantom, Amaso tries to help Kiira, but Ikima reminds him of the plan, but every time Amaso sees the beast failed killing Hiroshi, the more worried he gets, despite even warning from Hikima herself to stick to the plan. Kiira continues to hunt Hiroshi through the forest, ramming through and burning trees, until he corners him near canyon. Hiroshi jumps avoiding a Lava Bullet attack, and transforms into Jeeg's head and smack onto Kiira, the Phantom loses its grip and falls into the Canyon river below, much to the dismay of Amaso and Imika insults his phantom, prompting Amaso to smack him onto the wall with his staff, knock him out. Amaso orders the Orochi to provide assistance, moving it from its position.

Seeing the chance, Prof. Daira unleashes Energy shock waves that zap Michi back into consciousness. Hiroshi is pinned down by the attacks of the Phantom and the Orochi and is set a blaze and crashes on the river below, Kiira pushing further on the edge of a waterfall. A furious Ikima wakes up and orders to return the Orochi back to the lake, but too late, as the Big Shooter comes out, and the Orochi follows it. The Fortress opens fire in the pursuit, and shot causes Hiroshi to fall. Michi takes the chance and fires the Jeeg Parts on time. Now build up, Hiroshi takes its revenge on the Phantom, throwing it and then grabbing it by the horns, pulling it into the water fall. Jeeg punches it in the forehead, destroying the Flame thrower in it, reacting in pain, Kiira stands up on its hind legs, Jeeg takes the chance and grabs the Phantom, finishing it off with the Jeeg Breaker. A furious Himika orders them to retreat, but our Heroes are left concern that the enemy now has knowledge of the location of the Big Shooter's Launch Point.
