Tyrasaurus was the 12th Kaiju in the Fireman TV series, serving as Monster of the week in Ep.12, Earth's is the Robot's Graveyard.
_Bio and Abilities_
The Tyrasaurus, also called Taro by its creator, was in fact a Robot Kaiju created by the Elder Dr. Mizushima, Grandfather of SAF's Dr. Saburo Mizushima, using the mummified remains of an actual Tyrasaurus, with the help of Alien Barog providing Uranium to power it and was kept in control via Control Dial. Taro's one true ability was that he could fly.
A second Tyrasaurus and real was seen fighting the Kaiju a Lanosaurus in Ep.15 of the show, before the latter impaled and ate the former.
Taro's roar was that of kaiju Jiger from Gamera vs Jiger. The episode is possibly among the most rushed in terms of its plot as its all over the place and there is not narrative cohesion to it; it may also be out of order as it marks the test flight of the Marine Buru, a vessel which debuted already in the series before. In many ways, the plot of the episode is akin to that of Terror of MechaGodzilla, where aliens become benefactors to the Scientist, albeit he later was remorseful when learning the truth of Balrog's intentions.
_History_
Tyrasaurus/Taro, appears during a test flight of the Marine Buru when the vessel, piloted by Misaki and Mariko, pierce into its skin. As the hull of the ship begins to melt – due to Radiation leak – Misaki transforms into Fireman and takes an unconcious Mariko to safety to the island where he first appear as Fireman, she is later found by Chiba her suit cover in Radiation. Meanwhile, as SAF tries to understand what has happened, Umino is shock to find that Mizushima was this entire time a Robot.

They explore the ruins where they find a tied up Mizushima, his Grandfather and Alien Barog, the alien Girl is identified as her daughter.
Barog then explains that 30 years ago, in a poorly rushed sequence and explanation, the Elder Mizushima was a leading Robot expert during WWII as well succeeded in created a Hydrogen Bomb, but as consequence of Japan losing the war his research in Robotics was destroy intentionally, as he wanted to keep the secret to himself, this is were he met the Aliens and help him continue his work, creating many lifelike Robots, among them the Tyrasaurus/Taro, who been powered by the Uranium provided by the Aliens – hence the radiation leak from earlier. As The Elder Dr. Mizushima continues to explain the aliens' plans, he is shot dead by Barog, his final words to his Grandson been to keep an eye on his daughter for him before he passes.
