I had to look up what the heck this was out of the blue... red, but it seems fairly on point with the the shot from the commercial. I didn't find the commercial funny or anything. Slightly confusing, I guess. You use some relatively uncommon sources for practice, especially when you combine them with the things I see often on your art. "Here's a bunch of Animal Crossing." Okay, this guy likes Animal Crossing. "Also, here's the mayor of McDonald's who was removed as a result of a lawsuit from the folks behind Pufnstuf and a Korean candy ad." Nevermind. Randomized with a splash of Animal Crossing. Got it.
If you ever decide to do commission work, let me know. I imagine anything I ask for would likely come with a slightly twisted spin to it, and that would genuinely be interesting to see.
