could be darker

This was pretty good for what it was, it could be abit more on the darker side, with some sunlight or lighting effects it will give it that i think, maybe even make it look like there was some stains on the walls and dorrs for the creepy feel, but anyways its a good piece you have here i liked it

well more darkness around the door and some blood stains wouldnt hurt either

Carpentry class

Well, you get an A for the design of the door, but I'm more of a fan of four panel doors, with handles, rather than knobs :P

I think that the eye is naturally drawn towards the top right, where something sinister lurks within the pattern of the wallpaper. Possibly Illithid or even Cthulhu based, this looks very intimidating.

Perhaps the door needs to be ajar and whatever is behind the door is making a bid for freedom. This would easily be overdone, so subtlety is the order of the day, I feel.

One of your best.

It definitely looks cool. Just needs more detail to it.

The colours used here are very well chosen, and look good together. The colour of the wall was the best, and the shading you did here and the darker and brighter patches on the walls look very well drawn.

My only complaint is that this is too simple. As they said in the other reviews, cracks in the walls and cobwebs would help a lot, and things like a rusty doorknob, chips on the door, dents around the keyhole, dust and dirt, insects along the walls and some abnormal things like scratches of long claws on the walls and maybe leaving the door ajar with a dark red radiance creeping out of it would give it more a spooky feel to it.

To conclude, it's a simple but creepy looking picture. Needs some detail, but the colours chosen are excellent. Keep up the good work.

Nice one

Never knew a simple drawing of a simple door could look so nice. The picture has a very creepy atmosphere. I think it's because you used mostly colours that aren't very bright, except for some white spots on the wall.
Also it seems as if the door would spring open every second and some mean character would walk in and start shooting at me.

Maybe some cobwebs on the walls would intensify the creepy atmosphere, but I think I like Insanimations idea of cracks in the wall even better.

Needs more detail..

Structurally, it's fine. In a flash animation, it'd be great, but as an art piece, there's nothing special to make it stand out.

I think a few little details would have been nice..Maybe cracks in the walls, bit more texture on the door, just little things would make a big impact..

Theres a bit of texture up the top right corner which works nicely..
