Vintage 90s cover vibes for Venom this time around. Busy ass week with freelance but squeezed a slime boy in there.
I’ve always preferred the style of the old vintage comic books over the more heavily detailed modern comic books.
I love the feel and composition of this piece! Excellent, it captures the character perfectly with the pose and anatomy! Venom is a favorite of mine, that said, so I'm perhaps a bit biased!
Some people go too far with filters to make their art look vintage, but this is the perfect balance.
