This something that was requested by a friend on FurAffinity.

I know its not the best you guys here in NG have seen, but I'm still getting better.

Good, but needs something...

Your art is very good. He's got the basic muscular structure, he's in proportion, the coloring is great, and the fur looks furry. It's actually the pose he's in that make's this illustration look a bit impossible.

Look up some pictures of people swimming and you'll see what i mean. Also, it's very uncomfortable (and a bit silly) to have your arm up, with your forearm pointing down in a 90 degree angle. One last thing, if you're swimming, usually you want your hands splayed out so that it's easier to move.

I really like this piece, and I'd actually like to see you re-do it with a better pose, and possibly some lighting effects. :]

Thanks thank you for your positive response and advise!
I do plan to do better, its just that I'm still trying to get down poses and things, anatomy is still hard for me to draw, and its even harder to put them in a pose of some kind. Another thing thats really hard for me is lighting and shading, so I'm going to work on that as well.

This was also the first piece that I used photoshop for fur and shading.

I might redo this sometime later, but for now, I'm still going to draw more and try to get anatomy and other things down.
