Pyramic head

I think I'm finally starting to get the hang of digital painting, done from start to finish in photoshop CS3, about 4-ish hours.

Silent hill 2 is one of my favorite ones of the series.

I LOVE SILENT HILL

his stance and sword position seem to forced tho

Very good

This is a pretty nice work of art here. Lots of details, good shadowing and highlights, very gritty. Aesthetically, its great. However, in terms of your subject matter, something about the way you made him look, he appears as if he were more on the short side. Pyramid head is very tall and imposing. A slight vertical stretch may help. Also, although this looks like a buffer version of Pyramid Head, holding his Giant Knife straight out doesn't speak Pyramid Head to me. He's all about suffering, living in suffering and giving suffering. Dragging that big thing is who he/it is. Unless Pyramic Head is Pyramid Head's jacked cousin, in that case this is perfect and don't change a thing :P . Needs a bigger helmet though, makes him more imposing. Great job nevertheless, hope to see more from you.

Hey, thanks for your depthy review, I agree with you that he isn't alike in terms of character, and a tad on the short side. I'll definitely do my best to remedy this stuff in my future drawings.

I drew this while my internet was out however, so I had to make it without reference. =P.

Wow :O

That's really AWESOME! :O
