Honey the Cat

Another picture done during my Sonic Adventure days. This is Honey the Cat, a cut character from the old Sonic the Fighters game. I found out about her through Sonic-Cult, which is where I also got the refs that I used. I only say that to clarify I know she's supposed to have pigtails, but when I drew this at the time I didn't know that and the refs didn't show that at all.

Anyway, that's all in the past now and this is probably one of my favourite drawings still. Hope you all like it. ^^

Nice fanmade OC! Mine actually kiiiinda sucks a little bit...

AW, IT'S HONEY! *hugs her*

Anyways, what's excellent about this art is that it looks professional, especially with the detailing and such! Though I don't see pigtails on her, but that's okay; she doesn't always have to have pigtails, because I can tell that it's Honey! Excellent work!

Forte7 responds:

Ah just now saw this!

Yeah, I didn't draw her with the pigtails, cause the references I was using at the time didn't really seem to show them all that well.

You have inspired me...

I love to draw, but lately I've been in a rut. YOUR masterpiece has inspired me! Thanx 4 the Honey drawing, I think it's awesome!

it alot better then alot of the made up characters that ive seen before it almost looks like capcom made it!

Why is this flawless?

This looks good enough to be official. The only thing I would question is the gloves.

As it is, I'm not fond of just characters on blank backgrounds. Maybe a transparent copy in the back?

Other than that, I envy your talents.
