I prompted the discord midjourney bot with 5 of my most colourful drawings:

It's funny how I personally wouldn't consider my art style as particularly 'anime' but the generated image gives off gratuitous anime energy, def reminds me of that one OC artist 'ramdaram'. Also interesting how It followed an i-phone motif.

Though I did essentially paint my original artwork directly on top of the AI generated image, I made a great attempt to not trace. I know how dumbfoundingly counterintuitive this is considering the composition of the piece remained near identical and I was just polishing up the generated artwork. I made a great deal to follow newgrounds' Terms of Use and I'm in no way a tracer by any stretch of the definition.

Not too much I could do to provide original ideas into the artwork and weirdly the AI really seems to have an aversion with subverting artistic norms and customs as well as implementing comedy and pop culture in a cohesive, well thought out manner. Also very painful just skipping the guideline phase of a drawing, where figuring out whether the drawing isn't complete septic waste and is worth fully rendering happens.

I'll leave up to debate whether this piece is original enough to belong in the art portal, I'm not really leaning towards either side
