Flashcard Man!

Share

It's a me, Flashcard Man. A new breed of superhero for the intelligent generation. I have questions on the front and answers on the back. Forever fighting the evil of ignorance and defeating the forces of The Disruptor.

I did the linework by hand and then colored it on the computer. I then finished off the picture by making the background in Gimp and giving him better textures.

FLASHCARD MAN!

Well, definitely your best and cleverest picture. Of course, it is lacking in one key element- a sidekick. Without Robin, Batman is just some rich guy who runs around at night wearing tights. Get my point? Anyway, hereâEUTMs some pros and cons of this picture.

Good
-Use of texture on the belt and tie
-Shading
-Text
-Lighting effects
-Facial proportions
-The piles of flash cards
-Upholds the theme of Flashcard Man

Not so good
-Apendicular proportions and dimension
-Lighting effects dwarf the skin toneâEUTMs shading
-The cape looks out-of-place
-The adamâEUTMs apple looks too bulgy and wide
-Roller boy does not make an appearance
FLASHCARD!

Flashcard-Man responds:

Sorry. But if I make another FCM picture, it would be of the Disruptor, not of Roller Boy. Besides, there are Batman episodes that do not feature Robin and there are other heroes, like the Flash, that never gain a sidekick. There was no need to mention him twice.
Also on the "not so good" part
-The adam's apple is meant to be bulgy, making fun of the over-buffness of super heroes
-Humans are hard to draw, especially hands
-What good is a hero without a cape, it had to be there, out of place or not
-ONLY I CAN SAY FLASHCARD!
