smudge
this just looks like you overused the smudge tool, correct me if im wrong but nevertheless, the empty white space doesnt help

thats exactly what i did. i started with a big black splotch and just smeared it around for about 20 minutes. i like how it turned out so i saved it. so yeah, except for when i laid down the black...all i did was use the smudge tool
