A Brand New Name

Been wanting to update the BC armor set so badly with some ideas. Here's one of them, without the FSC Helmet. Just wanted to incorporate some of the concepts I used in some prior photo manipulations I had worked on into the original reference I posted on devART a while back. I think they look good, though they need some work.
Enough of that, you're probably wondering what's going on in this shindig.
We have a select BC infantryman loaded into their military's handy dandy VR system for training and practice. The rest of his team is loading at the moment, and after personnel load, they brief and the world/environment loads after. Oh, right. This mission is procure on site, so no guns or weapons for you or your buddies. D:
100% digital (PS CS3 + SAI), cuz when I did this my scanner was still pushing up daises.

FIRST! anyways, looks good, the guy looks proportional, i like the blue shade colors underneath him, the texture is also good, but whats with the hand? Is he holding his waist or trying to adjust his armor or sumtin?
