Hey! To start this decade right, we believe Newgrounds should be ad-free for EVERYONE. For this to work, we need people who have the means to become paying supporters. For just $3 per month or $25 for the year, you can help this happen and get some nice perks!

For the month of March we have disabled ads on all E-M content. We need 70 people to reach our goal of 3,000 active supporters. If we hit that, we'll continue with a new goal in April!

Salt n' Peppa

I did this still-life a few months back as practice to try out Vray. I also was testing out particle systems as I've been working on projects needing them at that time-- notice the salt spilled on the table. The pepper texture is actually a modified sand texture I took a few years ago.

Great! even though its just salt and pepper its very detailed and realistic

Es impresionante! dios!
no parece que fuera CG. me inclino ante ti!

even down to the smallest detail of the salt and pepper on the table itself

@VidGameDude "cause where are the shadows?" obvi a low light piece with the light on the front left-ISH area, i do see the shadow behind the objects so there is shadow in this

Incredibly atmospheric

The reflection on the salt shaker is incredible. I can see a window in it.

this is awesome, but clearly art

if you seriously believe its just a photo, then you've probly never seen a salt shaker before, i can clearly tell this isn't real, i mean its an excellent work of art, but its not a real photo
