This is my largest painting to date, 40 inches by 60 inches Acrylic on Wood Panel. It's my crazy friend Chris... I wanted to try and really capture the terrorized look on his face but downplay it with the candy styled dots surrounding him. The colors really pop out a lot more in person, and the size of the thing is pretty intimidating. I don't have this displayed anywhere but when I was keeping it in my apartment if it was dark I'd catch that out of the corner of my eye and freak out... but that's kind of what I was going for. I took his photo into photoshop and applied the paper cutout affect, then used a light projector to cast the image on the board and traced the outlines, then painted inside the lines! Took me about a week.
