Kid the Winter and Snowghule meets Wolpertinger in Spring

Author Comments

Hey, finaly i finished it... ,, Kid the winter and its fellow Snowghule meet the german Wolpertinger in Spring,, For those who dont know, the Wolpertinger is a mythicalbeast from germany, like a chimära it has no definatly form but i used the most common one, half Rabbit, half deer, half roaster :D And yes u kann be 3 times half of anything ;)

I apologize for the next bunch of words and hope they make any sense to you guys, because english isnt my motherlanguage. I used a A3 mixed Material Paper what sadly consumed a lot of ink cuz of its capability to get used for Aquarellicpaint... Most of the coloration is done by copic marker with some Highlights with Fabercastell Polychromos colored pencils (Oilbased) a variaty of finelinern (mostly stadler) from 0.05 to 0.3 mm and some shading with Fabercastel Pitartist Inkbrush in greytones.

Here is my Work in progress

I really enjoyed the work on this piece and raised my skill a bit. First time i used my brain to make some depth and nearly correct light and shadow effects XD

My first reaction: OMG So much detail :)
You put a lot of time and effort into this and it shows. Heavy color saturation and I love the style that you went with and all around its a beautiful piece. Good luck.

beautiful colors! is that a jackalope?! :D

Thank you, yeah took me a week or two but mostly sketching. Coloration was pretty fast in 3 days done, thanks to the copic markers ;)
