[No Straight Roads: Heartline Lane] Piper Sector

Share

When I first heard about No Straight Roads, I immediately thought of this villain I have from a story. Eventually, as I got more and more into the game, I knew I had to come up with what her attacks would be as an NSR boss. From there, I brainstormed with @corpsecake and now we have our own hypothetical fangame, a crossover between NSR and our own universes - Heartline Lane!

Piper Sector is the presumed final boss of Heartline Lane, the Prime Charter of Lotus City (Vinyl City's neighbor to the southwest), and a dancing EDM artist with mind control powers and a huge ego. Her ability to directly control others who hear her music live, and to charm (in D&D terms) those who hear her on recording, has made her the record-holder for the fastest rise to billionaire status in history! Fortunately, plugging your ears neutralizes the effect, and Mayday and Zuke happen to have brought some. They challenge her in a concert venue deep within the heart of a chemical plant in Lotus City's Capitol District. Armed with her singing, her army of fans, her loyal backup dancer/bodyguards, toxic chemicals, and even illegal concealed taser weapons, she poses a powerful threat indeed. Her design and attacks incorporate a toxic waste and biohazard motif, as well as heavy use of black and neon green.

@corpsecake and I will probably be posting more Heartline Lane stuff in the future, so keep on the lookout for that!

Haha! Thank you! Actually, now that I think about it, this is probably the biggest culmination I've ever drawn of all the Procreate tips and tricks I've learned over time. I feel like I've gotten so much better since I started!
