[Angelsong] Anger

Right in time for spooky season, here's a recent OC of mine. Alton Towers' The Smiler ride got me thinking about the idea of forced emotions and similar tropes, and thus, Anger was born!

Anger (real name Angel) is former human who signed a contract with a demon to become a demonic warrior, filled with a rage that is literally never-ending. She's pretty violent and really not a likeable person. I think of her alternately as an antihero (in the original sense of an unlikeable protagonist), a character to be made fun of, and a horror monster. Her design takes inspiration from the aesthetics of Alton Towers' Black Hole ride (that once stood where the Smiler is now) and Rammstein, a very angry German band. I attempted to highlight and shade things a bit more realistically here, based on how they are shaped.

As of 4/22/21, this art/bio page now doubles as an ask page! Ask Anger any questions in the reviews, and I'll forward you her replies! (I may choose to ignore a question for any reason.)

Yeah, I usually do positive and wholesome art. I just really liked the concept behind this character enough that I had to draw her and post it!

The next thing I post will likely be another villain, but I do have some fun, cute, and heroic stuff planned as well! :)
