What is the difference between the whole self and the situational self? It's a matter of unrestrained emotions released onto our daily tasks. Who we are is not always determined by what we do, but how we do anything is determined by who we are. From our coping mechanisms after a bad break-up, to the most minute tasks such as tying your shoes, we fully express who we are during a certain state of mind through our actions. Whether its anger, extreme ease, or those rare moments of being the smoothest person around, we will always express our emotions because they have the ability to conquer over our will. Only those who control their emotions can reach true peace and enlightenment. And with enlightenment comes zero shoes and dirt naps.
