Dragon Hunter

Share

This is my first more serious experiment with using a 3D sculpt for a 2D painting. It was a learning experience to say the least and it took way longer than it should’ve because of that. In the end, I have mixed feelings about the painting. It could’ve been way better as a painting, but it does have a certain quality that my other work doesn’t have. I’m definitely happy to be opening a new door/skillset though.

The programs used were Nomad Sculpt for sculpting, blender for rendering and Procreate for the overpaint.

Wow. That's impressive.

Love the energy in this

The creature or dragon or dragon hunter is an intense design that you have created very nice work love every little bit of detail here, I may suggest make a series of different creatures? some very good energy you put fourth into this one and thats what I have really enjoyed about this one, so nice work here indeed, so keep up the interesting and artistic work as it was a beautiful visual of creativity.

Awesome work!

Really enjoy the blurr and focus effect. Reminds me Of Alduin.

Hm. The lighting looks good; it makes the dragon's form look good anyway. I'm not certain about the perspective, though, but maybe it's something else. This painting simply doesn't scratch that itch for me.
