This ansi (textmode art used in BBS' back in the day) was as submission to the Blocktronics Codename Chris Wirth ansi artpack.

I guess that's the first AH ansi in history. It took me around 03 hours to complete.

I was going through this picture and wondering why people liked it. It just seemed like a mess. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that as I looked down, it created something that was truly magnificent. I'm going to assume that says "Alientronics" in the pixellated letters. That's probably my only problem. It could have been of better resolution. That still doesn't change the fact that it's an awesome art piece.

I appreciate you wanting to pay a tribute to one of our most beloved mascots. We have so many of them you can simply never stop coming up with new elaborate ways to portray them. It's probably better viewed from a distance. The alien never got old enough to be in a pixellated game. Only three hours?

enzob7 responds:

Thank you! Yeah, it was quick to draw. :)

How great. I totally miss TheDraw ANSI program... I wonder if i'd be able to produce anything decent in it - it always escaped me back then how anyone was able to get a decent product.

This is amazing in a way because now you can take advantage of the intense resolutions we've advanced to! Still, one must click on it and scroll up and down to really get the proper viewing experience. How awesome, well done.
