My first piece using Clip Studio Paint, which is insanely intuitive--I'm kicking myself for not using it earlier. This was one of the earliest art idea entries, dating back to January. This is intended to be paired with Duvet from bôa, which was posted on Twitter.

I'm working on more closely emulating the manga art style, which concurrently has more realistic and exaggerated proportions. There's also, just, way more details, specifically in the hair. I also made sure to include nails, which I find a crucial aspect of the manga art. As for the iPod, I just looked up something like "blue ipod 2004" to find something period accurate to when these panels were serialized--which is out the window already with the DMA logo--and went with the original iPod Mini.

The composition is based on this panel from Lucky Star volume 1, chapter 11, page 60, with additional pointers taken from its equivalent anime scene from episode 4.
