I had the concept of a programmer who goes to the Virtual World, and founds a USB Sword-like weapon. So he uses it to combat and even control virus and other rouge programs. With that weapon, he can even manipulate the data of those programs.

If I want to retake this concept, I'm considering giving him two different USB Sword-like weapons. Or at least give an extra handle, like a tonfa or Hiryu's sword.
