Anyways, just finished this picture of August playing in the woods post-rainy night.Figured I oughta draw a setting beside the lodge and hot springs.
The thing with the feet was similar to Elly's recent nighttime picture with her fingers, but much simpler, to be honest.
I was gonna add shimmer to the water, but I couldn't really think of a way to make it look good. Also, at this angle, it probably would appear closer in real life to what I drew. Kinda similar to the reflections. I couldn't find a good brush setting, but then again, they probably would be calm anyways.
I enjoy making bushy hair now. That 4-hour pic of August really revealed just how easy it is to add a bit more realism to hair. Unapologetic strokes are apparently a strong yet simple means to enhance hair texture.
