I finally finished this project! Thanks to Paru Itagaki for creating such an interesting setting and array of characters. What started as a drawing of 5 of the main characters after getting hooked to the manga ended up as something 10x times bigger. I'd say the background part was the hardest since I wasn't used to working with big canvases and monochromatic colour schemes, but it turned out all right :)

It was fun trying to make each character's pose reflect their personalities, and some characters were also challenging due to the small space for detail.

I was thinking of doing another set for games I played, but at least during the next few months I want to focus on digital paintings for my portfolio. If you want a pixel commission in the next few months you can always ask, though :p

(I made it with this composition, but I liked the idea of mixing them up due to the interwoven nature of the series, so now you have both to compare.)

Here's also the clean backgrounds for those who might be curious. A lot of details were going to get obscured, but I took the challenge of detailing them anyways.
