It's been a long year, i intended to put out more than i
got out last year. But due to delays, we reached the exact same number
as the last year. Which is fine. Especially since last year, two of them
were remakes of older works. This year, all of them are brand new characters,
never before sprited in the series. Today is the last character for Season 2.
Akko Kagari, from Little Witch Academia
Hell yeah, first non Video Game character in the series not counting Miku. bet you weren't
expecting that. Tbh, i wasn't expecting it either.
Akko Kagari is a student at Luna Nova, a school for up and coming witches
to learn how to use magic. Ever since she was a little girl. Akko has always
idolized a famous witch, named Shiny Chariot. Who she saw perform live
when she was little. Ever since then, she has aspired to become as good
at magic as she is. However, she isn't exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer.
With her being pretty hyper, impatient, and sometimes selfish.
(huh maybe that's why i related to her so much)
However, with the help of her tutor. Professor Ursula. She eventually masters
magic as much as she can. And now, she will be able to show the world what she
has learned in the world of Super Smash Brothers.
I wanted the final character for Season 2 to go out with a bang, something i've
never done before. And i thought having a non video game character would
do the trick perfectly. I feel like people would of expected Goku first.
But i like being unpredictable. Thank you for supporting the series ever
since i started. I don't think i would of continued back in 2019 if it wasn't
for the support i was given. It means so much to me that people like
my work. Season 3 is going to start sometime next year. I have a few
characters i might start work on for the first character. One i've already
sketched out. But the character might be a little too ambitious to get it done
by january. So i might try to sketch out another character just to get the ball
rolling.
Btw, you may be wondering why i went with a Trigger rep, but didn't
go with the most obvious choice. Ryuko Matoi from Kill la Kill.
The pixel art series is for good boys and girls of all ages. Maybe in the future if there's enough demand for it, i might consider it. But for now. Akko it is.
