It's official. I announced this a while back on Twitter, but now that I have this new cover art for the new and improved prototype chapter of Ebony-x-Heart I can tell you all that said chapter is already in development. I know the first time I tried doing this here ended up being rather creatively dissipating for me, and a few other attempts I didn't post anywhere were too heavy on exposition right off the bat. I suppose now would be a good time for me to focus on Ebony-x-Heart being merely some episodic stories lasting a few chapters at a time that gradually lead into a long-term narrative that'll fit seven books each having around nine chapters consisting of 22-60 pages each with three arcs in each book.
This of course might take me a while, and aside from digital cover art, "anime eye-catcher style" illustrations book-ending each chapter and some two to four page full-color prologues for each arc, most of the comic will remain drawn via traditional pen-and-paper and probably won't even be uploaded until I can find a decent scanner that'd interface properly with my laptop. So in essence, Ebony-x-Heart will have to have a short-term equivalent of a Cyberpunk 2077 development cycle. Basically, the comic will be out whenever it's ready.
