You know, it's been a while since I've drawn anything related to my ongoing webcomic project Ebony-x-Heart, so I went ahead and drew two panels featuring one of the central characters of the series Rocky P. the Thirteenth/ Kaworu Kishida fighting a familiar looking Russian brawler in a bare-knuckle underground mixed martial arts duel amidst the grungy blood-marred tourney ring and the spectacular flashing cameras and lights surrounding the fight. It was a pleasure to finally fully realize one of my longest enduring characters in some form of color with shading and lighting effects and even a canonical hair color and his intentionally pale skin tone. Must have been all the martial arts anime I've been watching rubbing off on me. No matter: this will just serve as proof that the Ebony-x-Heart project lives on in my mind.
