Hey Hey! More Defect 01 stuff!

I haven't been talking about this too much anymore cause production is just brute work, so not many fun concept stuff to discuss, there are a few things though.

First off! Production stuff: production is HELL right now! Lots of tight hours, plus school is back up. I did 4\10 pages this month, and I know I can't afford catch up next month cause my mental health can't take that much. This will lead to the release date being pushed back a bit, which sucks, but I have to remember not to ask too much of myself so I can avoid burnout.

Another (more positive) thing to note is the art for D-01 is starting to improve a lot! Yes, this does lead to some inconsistencies as the comic goes on, but that's just how things go with comics.

Also, I am still fixing some parts of the script (most issues being near the end) so lets hope the revised version's good enough.

Anyway, time for more fun stuff:

'Till this point, I've spoken about characters a lot, but not much about the world (or rather, the facility) so I might as well make this update interesting by talking about the Deus-Hub for a bit!

As you know from the synopsis, The facility they're is closed off from the world, so the people inside have never seen or felt sunlight before, but I didn't really ,mention how big its is. Nobody beside the Admin knows how big the building is. Most people in there will live their whole lives without stepping foot outside certain areas.

There were actually a few scenes that show the inner workings of the Deus-Hub and the type of tech Authorities have to use to navigate the less habitable areas, but they were cut for brevity sake, which is unfortunate, cause it was some really cool stuff! I had the idea of making an art book for Defect 01 (Dunno if that one would be free, but maybe) that I could use to show concepts/illustrations of scenes I had to cut. If people want it after reading Defect 01, then it'll try to make it happen.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed this update! I'll try to cover more about the setting in the next update like stuff about the culture or the lives of authorities, but the next one probably won't be for a while. Sucks, I know, but hey, you might get some promo art before then! That's all for now, seeya!
