this isn't really my thing, whenever i come over to the art section i expect to look at some drawings/paintings/photoshop pieces and i always detest pictures but not this time.
i absolutely love this mug, the skill and craftsmanship is showing from this, it;s like you're hiding your power level and you can do better. the way the eyes and mouth wrinkle the skin around them and the cracks are my favorite thing here. i also like the octopus handle.
So dang kind man... I try to take the best photos of my work possible. This website is full of loli's and intricate illustrations, so it's hard to stick out. The mugs have become a huge passion, and I've only been working with this clay for 5 weeks ish. I will improve, hope you come along for the ride! Thanks again!
Hi Lenny. Nice handle.
*lenny's tentacle reaches out for your...*
Just wondering if it's an earth clay, if not what is it? and what process did you use to make it (Coil, thrown, etc.)
<3 <3 Yeah it is! I just responded to your last comment! Thanks again. Also, coil. Throwing is something I will do in the future but, I need a wheel. Usually, takes me 20 hours to make something like this.
I need this in my life, it looks amazing. can't wait if and or when you are going to give it it's colors.
Coloring will happen this week/next week! Thanks for the kind words <3 He is actually available on a pre-sale atm limited to 30 in the first colorway, 12 sold so far :D
Freakish, the details like the wrinkles and veins really sell the vibe of the whole thing. Solid stuff
Thank you! He's my pride and joy. When he's glazed it's going to turn heads!
