One of my favorites in a 12 part series called "Judged but not Tried" I completed the series in May 2013 so I'll upload slowly. The bottom portion is drawn and the top was image transferred, and then refined through pen and ink retouching.

Pen, pencil, and ink on paper.

OH MY GOD I GOT FRONTPAGED I can believe I didn't notice it until a month later! Thank you!

Their feelings are like combined about the same place. Amazing.

I never could understand art like this. I mean mostly the meanings behind it if they have any

But when I do love is the style and the way they're drawn. When I focus on that I usually end up liking it and this is no exception. You sir have a sharp eye for these kind of things and cant wait to see waht you got down the pipeline

Dessinmaitre responds:

Thank you so much! And I feel the same way sometimes.

Really interesting. I won't say that I "like" it, but it'd be a shallow lie if I call this bad. And anyway I like to think art has different interpretations for everyone. You don't have to love it at first glance. This is definitely something not to dismiss after a first glance, and it is, like I said, interesting. Also, impressive, considering this was pen, pencil and ink. Whenever I try and use all three the blacks run together and create a mushy scrawl, but with this, it defines each illustration; the black, sinister crows, the lone, (pure?) dove, the faceless girls, the "hovel," looking very haunted indeed.
Pretty wordy, and I hope I don't sound like a snide prig. What I really wanted to say was: interesting, unique piece, very skillful :)

Dessinmaitre responds:

Thanks for your comment and kind words! And no, I don't take you as snide at all, Its actually a breath of fresh air to hear other viewpoints. Although very appreciated, the usual "That's amazing! I Iove it! OMG! " I get in class isn't very helpful in the long run.

This looks so real at first I thought it was done by photoshop. Magnificent artwork adding another one to my favorites!

Dessinmaitre responds:

Thank you! I appreciate it.!
