Man Vs. Babylon

Don't know where I was going with this. Wanted to do a SteamPunk Idea but had no thought on where and what to make the SteamPunk design, so I just did the eyes in that fashion and just went on sketching the face. Then thought it would be cool to doodle a city next to him, and that Snowballed to a Neo-opolis meets Rome type of deal... which looks like its in a Desert. Did some Light and shading, Added tiny detail to the eye. Aged up the Pic and did absolutely Nothing to the right side... don't know why... just nothing seemed to fit there. Like it belongs empty. Dunno.

I might actually do a SteamPunk Idea later. Just thinking of what to do it of. Long thinking process.

Interesting

Looking close, i REALLY like what you did with the city, the way the colors blend and contrast together make it look awesome. You did very good with the guy too, but for some reason the city really catches my eye every time i look at this. Also, the sky looks badass, kinda like a sandstorm is happening, very nice.

Could use abit more

Dont get me wrong i like it its like a god looking onto a city or something along them lines, i think it needs much more depth in color not just the pale tone, but other then that its a neat art piece, i hope to see more of your work sometime soon

Work on adding more color and depth to it

good job

i also like the colors you have too.... :)

really cool

I like the colors you have chosen, it kinda seems like a dessert kind of feel to it with all the browns and tans you used.. also his eyes are very unique, I like how both of them seem kind of artificial as if he is not completely human. maybe he wants to get some revenge on Babylon because of that, and it does seem like he is wise and older because of his long grown out beard. You also did a great job of putting in the blurs, the blurs in the picture really bring out what's significant in the picture. This is really nice.

That is the best complement I have Ever received. I thank you for noting the detail, and thank you for your Kind words.
