In Drawing II Class we were asked to produce something for the Spencer Hill Gallery, I chose to enhance an old mask assignment and submit it. The mask from the original graphic was similar but not like this.
I called it NOIR, made it with graphite pencil, bic pen, black charcoal (wet and dry) and black berries (the swirl at the bottom left). It made a really good impression to the audience, but didn't sell. This is on a block of wood with gesso coating.
