I guess somebody had to bring out the "big guns". Get it?
Anyway, nice work of art! I love it.
super good work, what program did you do this in, Maya? i really enjoy the attention to detail in the scope, however, isnt the bolt supposed to be bent downward. anyway, good work my friend. also, if it shows i have a low rating on this review, please disregard it, my computer has been acting wonky on this site.
i am not so much of a sniper person BUT lucky u i would love a bolt action sniper if i were 2 get 1 it got a lot of nice detail, lacks a backround but i dont care and like i say EPIC JOB! XD
Well it's one of my favorite snipers :D! but yeah .. a background or a setting would be an improvement by now, but I just like the showcase effect by making the weapon the only part of the scene.
look's like a sniper rifle
not magnum and there's supposed to be a revolver like gun
Welll basicly.. MAGNUM is more of an ammo type and not neceseraily a gun. you're probably referring to revolver.
i think it could use some more texture/bump maps. I see a little on the scope i think but if you add some more to the rest. maybe some dirt/mud and such would give it more character. yeah the trigger needs work but overall it seems solid, would like to see the wireframe. if you have mental ray they have some neat stuff for glass for the scope lens but there are methods, it would be a nice detail
Well yeah.. I wish I was more able to come up with custom made texture but I have no skill in that at all yet.. as I would love to pop some textures on it with cuts or more puncture bumps in the gun and all.. but yeah, kept it to a standard metal bump texture.. though I didnt want to over do the value on the bump because it didn't make it look any better.
Non the less thanks for the review!
