i was going to write "don't ignore me." on the sign. i imagine that's what some homeless people mostly think when they are out trying to get change n stuff. this one is actually a bum i can barely remember. i would see him all the time outside the metro station when i went to high school. he had this crazy slouch. like his head was partially inside his stomach. crazy. blue ballpoint pen.

Touched me

The concept is great. Lines are good. Emotions of the character can actually be felt through the skectch.

Have you ever given a serious thought to making a graphic novel with just pen and a paper?

P.S. I think you better copy right your images as there are many sharks lurking around. Adding a watermark will be a good idea as well.

Keep it up. You rock!!

thanks alot Prachii <=== cool name :)

i will start putting my watermark for sure.
i would love to do a graphic novel. i'm a big Chris Ware, Jim Woodring, Jason and Joe Daly fan. i tend to juggle making music and art at all times. making a graphic novel seems like a timely endeavor.... BUT, no excuses. i should make one.

thanks for the inspiration Prachii.

"Keep your coins, I want change"
Yeah. I like this drawing, the lines are pretty cool on his shirt and trousers, really liking the style but I'm not sure if the sign should be shaded in the same way. I'm loving the way you did his hair. The arms are kinda deformed and the guy's hands look weird, but it makes him look like a true outcast of society.
I can see him on the sidewalk in a busy urban area, or maybe under a bridge.

Anyways, overall, nice drawing.

thanks! yeah i kinda went for a more cartoon feel for the guy. exaggerating his body and stylizing his hair. there is another homeless guy i wanted to draw who looks very normal except for his stomach which hangs low and it's huge.
thanks again!
