Art rarely comes out as first intended, especially if you really love it.

You know what would be fun? Having some folks roleplay as these two in a DND campaign to plot out future stories. Art-wise I think you did an excellent job with all of it. If the story had to end, you picked an appropriate spot to pinch it off.
