Made with some cheap brushes, canvas, and acrylic paint.

This is my 8th (and currently best) acrylic painting. It's a painting of my fiancee and it took around 31 hours to make it. Her beauty has allowed me to test the current limits of my abilities. I'm still inexperienced with making real paintings, but I'm glad I was able to make a decent picture of her.
I had to cheat a little bit by taking a photo of the painting and comparing it with an overlapping original photo on my computer to find my flaws, though. Hopefully I'll be able to improve enough to make accurate paintings just by using my eyes.

This is gorgeous :D
Did you like to paint portraits? If that is I recommend you to use oil paint. You'll have good time blending but you did a good job using acrylic :)

DannyP responds:

Well, it's pretty interesting using a different medium. I also like how it actually looks like art, unlike my pencil crayon things that look like a school project. I'd definitely like to try out the other variants of paint sometime. What I don't like about acrylic is how hard it is to get rid of all the white space, and also how the paint stacks up when I make layers of mistakes.
