Major Sir Tacopug III, of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps, known famously for bringing Mexican delicacies to the land of Australia in the 1890s. Led his company in the ill-fated Gallipoli campaign against the overwhelming Ottoman forces. During the retreat, Sir Tacopug was shot while rushing a machine gun outpost, bayonet in hand, on the 15th of December, 1915. He later died from sepsis on January 17th, 1916 in an Egyptian hospital after being evacuated. But thanks to his sacrifice, his remaining men managed to successfully retreat.
