Huh, cool! What's the panel in the back with the fluffy surface, is that some kind of insulation?

"Stellar Coolant" is one of many Thaumic/Mundane technologies that makes interstellar travel so convenient, wicking heat from the hull and transmuting it harmessly into a steam of thaumic energy. There is no pump system needed, but the substance is liquid and needs to be under pressure.
With redundancy a thing in engineering feats everywhere, The Ramshackle Heaven has these pipes all around the underside of it's massive hull. One pipe bursting isn't going to be a problem, but since the huge ship really shouldn't land, the best place to fix any part of it is in orbit.
Ramshackle's hull, however, is not made of steel but another semi-magical aloy, which means magnets aren't practical for anchoring things. Thankfully, with "vacuum cups" (a very complex variant of suction cups that work in the vacuum of space), everything can be stuck to the hull anyway.

It's a bristled surface to temporarily hold parts secure- When out in space, you need quick ways to tie things down or otherwise keep them from moving!
