Style Swap "Road To Schleissheim" and Over The Garden Wall

Author Comments

This is a swap of A painting by Theodore Clement Steele called "Road To Schleisshiem"( https://uploads6.wikiart.org/images/t-c-steele/road-to-schleissheim-1882.jpg ) in the style of Over the Garden Wall. I really love Over The Garden Walls backgrounds, and they were inspired by american impressionism. I thought it would be cool to swap things back around, and draw something inspiring in the style of what was inspired by it. As always lovely contest Jazza, and happy to be a part of it.

Lovely piece! Those golden yellow and orange tones are just so pleasing to look at, and the viewer can clearly see the resemblance of the two styles chosen for the theme.

I dont know the styleswap, but as a painting this is really gorgeous. Really calming feeling about it.

CultistLemming responds:

The style is from of the backgrounds of a show called Over The Garden Wall. It is a miniseries produced by cartoon network.

Love the colour choice on this piece !
