My first real attempt at pixel art! Friend of mine has a show over on youtube that is done entirely in pixel art and he's been working on the art by himself for over a year so I offered to help out. As my first practice character I went for one of my childhood PBS heroes, mr Mark Kistler of the imagination station! aka "The commander"
Nostalgiaaaaaaa~!!!!! I have to give you five stars just for reminding me of a forgotten childhood hero. The piece is really good for a first attempt though.

Can you believe he still tours and does his show on the road??...lots of my childhood tv show hosts are still doing their own thing just not on TV it turns out...Marc Wiener is still doing "Weinerville" on the road...and LeVar Burton is still doing Reading Rainbow stuff...
