Hey everyone! Hows it going? :D This is the very first time I submmit to newgrounds and also the first time I participate in Jazza's Chalenge of the month :D
here is the link for those interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHn4Ajotfio

This time the chalenge was to create a super selfie, basically choosing a super hero and drawing everything from the perspective of his phone :D Right up my alley!

I chose my all time favorite and childhood idol, SPIDERMAN :B

This drawing features spiderman snapping a picture of himself throught the reflective surface of a building as he climbs :D

This piece took about 18 to 20 hours to complete, probably due to my lack of experience with painting :D.

Tablet: wacom bamboo pen tablet
Software: Photoshop

About me: I am a 16 year old aspiring artist, I live in portugal and I spend my time drawing, playing video games and of course studying, I'm still a begginer but someday I hope to evolve into a fully fledged artist :D.

Great concept. The non-reflective hand is stellar! The reflection is flatter and doesn't show volume quite as clearly. I think it has to deal with the flatter shading and interior lines. Overall well done!

Thank you so much for your feedback :D I guess you are right about the reflection not showing as much volume. I did experimentate with diferent (flatter) reflections, but I felt the drawing lost character, so I just admitted the surface as an extremely shiny (mirror like) surface.
If I can get some free time from school Ill see if I can alter it in any way.
Cya. ;)
