This was interesting

~~REVIEW~~
Hmm well this was interesting and as a logo type of thing its notbad, however i think there needs to be more to it you have a few designs and stuff in there but what i think it needs is more of that maybe even larger images as to see the "DETAIL" of the whole logo, the "FONT" could be changed to something more fancy and stylish maybe something more on the "WAVY" style the red blood spatter is pretty neat i thought but you should add some "TEXTURE" to it, its just kinda there and remember if this is your logo design everyone sees, then you want it to really jump out at them so they can checkout your flash or art, anyways nice entry i look forward to reviewing more of your stuff

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
make some images larger and or add more of them, make some fancy font besides the one you have, and add some detail and texture to the blood splatter

Celx-Requin responds:

I don't know, it was a cover so I didn't want to go overboard you know.

I've always liked "simple" covers to films, like the "red line" in the French "kill bill" dvd cover looks better to me than the picture of "Uma Thurman" on the American dvd cover.

Thanks,

Not bad

Does this mean that all of the teeth on "cool jaw" have been sharpened to points? That's an interesting character quirk, that looks like it is rather sinister, especially with the blood splatters. An interesting side note is that you've added the blue to this, which is unusual for you and your pieces. Personally, I'd like to see more colours in your works. Then again, if you're going for something like Frank Miller's "That Yellow Bastard" style of comic, you need to stick religiously to the design brief.

I'll look forward to seeing how this piece turns out.

I don't consider myself to follow the Frank Miller format, although I can see why some may feel that way.

effing sweet man

it is so cool because i did not see the jaw in the picture till I read the title of the picture, and after that it changed my perception towards it. I love the sort of contrast that lies in this picture with the black and red, which just makes me think of a vampire-esque comic (while it may not be the case with you).

This might be too much to ask, but you should consider changing the blue to something else, maybe a tone of red or something like that. It just throws me off everytime i look at it. Besides that, I think this would be a great cover for a dark and, shall I say, twisted comic?

Celx-Requin responds:

Hello,

I'm not gonna reveal what it's about, but it will be coming out fairly soon.
Your right aout one thing though it will be twisted!

Thanks for the review,
- Celx

Okay cover

This is okay for a cover I guess. I like the simplicity of the picture. Some covers seem to be overloaden with various things, but this cover doesn't reveal much of the content to be expected in the comic itself.

However, the text on the cover is a bit hard to read, especially the blue one. You should change it to some brighter colour.
