So I'm looking into cel-shading which is supposed to be a fitting use of highlights and shading for animated shows, not too sure how it's coming out but here but I used Meter from an upcoming cartoon called Kingdom of None. It looked cool by the the one promotional image of it that's been released. I'm having trouble figuring out where the highlights go I guess.

Truth be told I keep a few krita docs on hand for practicing shading and what not, I'm having trouble improving my shading & highlights, I get where the light source comes from effects the shadows, use multiply for shadows and screen for highlights, shade under the neck and hair bangs and that's the most of it what really frustrates me is understanding where every other shadow goes and good places to put the highlights.
