I had a dream I was in a building not all that different to an airport. Filled with people who couldn't stop for anything but always walked in the same place, never moving. In between them all had been a line of smoke and it found me. It whispered in my ear " A storm is coming, and it is just for you. " when my eyes had begun to open from the rest and stared into the darkness, something, a faceless thing tall and sharp bent over the side of my bed and stared at me. When my eyes had blinked it was gone.

You know, I don't say this as often enough as I should but I'm really glad to have you around when you decide to come and sit with me. We're busy creatures and I know..I know we're all spring footed in many directions talking about destiny, glory, and living. These times though..they are so very precious and for some people who are so busy, they might not even realize they're not letting their feet carry them anywhere at all.

I have a lot of anger and sadness in me. I used to let it out in my art and in my words. I used to say to myself and others how wasteful we are of our creativity. How easily dismissive we are for intellect or how we just consume friendships and love like it was ours alone..selfish. I was so busy stepping in one direction, I didn't realize I was stuck in place just letting out all this anger and convincing myself I was saying it out of love. We all need some time now and again with ourselves or others.

More than that we need perspective and a healthy reminder of humanity. There is always a storm coming and beyond that is the calm before the next. You don't need someone to tell you how wasteful you're being. You don't need hate and sadness to be on your shoulders as if that is how we all deserve to be living. You deserve to know you've done well to get up to this point. I'm wishing you the best for the rest of the way and if you ever want to talk, we're sharing the same road. Some people think things can never change but they always do though, even if we're walking in place. You're here now aren't you? You take care.
