I just want...

No matter how far down you've fallen, no matter how deep down you've grown accustomed to being broken, I hope you can hear me for just one day. For just one moment.

I feel like there are veils over our heads some days, and weight on our backs. I've been brought to my knees before and begged for mercy in the face of nothing. I've been vanquished by silence, and broken by thought. Like a ghost wandering in solitude, disconnected from others, and disconnected from life. It is a...lonely path. Maybe you're on it right now.

If you can hear me, any part of you. If you're hurting, I hope you know that your feelings matter, that you matter. That despite whatever thought you conceive true right now against yourself.. that you're not alone in this.

Because you struggle does not mean you are weak. It means there is something truly worth struggling for deep down inside yourself. Because you are hurt, does not mean you are a burden, or the only one with a problem. Your voice connects you to us, and your life connects us to you.

I want you to do your best today. Even if that means just taking a moment to get out of bed, to go some place, to just think, or even talk to someone. The weight is unbearable some days. Alone...it is far worse. And if you have no one, come and sit with me for a little. We need someone, anyone to disprove the belief we're truly alone out here.
